The Young Living Seed-to-Seal Standard

Since I’m hosting a harvest right now, I decided this is my topic of choice for this newsletter. One of the things I love about Young Living is their Seed to Seal Standard. Every single part of the process matters, regardless of how insignificant it may seem.
For me it all started from spending time at the farms with Gary, seeing the love he had for the land, and what it can produce for the betterment of mankind. Witnessing the respect Gary had for the soil, the seeds,  the seedlings, the equipment, the people and every piece of the process until the first drop of oil was produced, is a memory I’ll cherish. We hosted our team at a harvest every year for 26 years and had the opportunity to see first hand the dedication that goes into making sure we have pure, unadulterated oils.
Nothing added, nothing taken out, kept exactly like they are in the plant.

I love that there is no separation, every aspect matters. Every part of the process is important.

We had the opportunity of building the Northern Lights Black Spruce distillery, working side by side with Gary, day after day, week after week, month after month, in the harshest of weather. In spite of the challenges, no shortcuts were taken, instead extra extreme caution was implemented to ensure there would be nothing in the distillation process that could contaminate the oil.

Gary taught us that you never look at what it cost you, you always look at what it’s giving you.

The best part that continues today, is our farms and our dedicated farm managers, who have Gary’s heart. These men are dedicated to the quality and have brought transparency of the entire process to the people. There is nothing that brings trust more than transparency.

Don’t take my word for it or anyone else’s word, go to the farms, visit the distilleries, go to the Young Living headquarters, see for yourself, then collaborate with those who have been there from the beginning, who have weathered the storms, who have had personal transformation as a result of the quality of our oils.

It’s all guaranteed in the Seed to Seal Standard.

Northern Lights Black Spruce

Northern lights black spruce to balance the masculine and feminine energy.

Black spruce essential oil (Picea mariana) is a grounding, woodsy oil used in aromatherapy to reduce anxiety, promote relaxation, and ease respiratory congestion. Rich in bornyl acetate, it serves as an effective anti-inflammatory for soothing muscular aches and joint pain. It also aids in skin health and acts as a natural air purifier. Northern lights black spruce is one of the highest frequency oils. Understandably so as it’s anointed with the high frequency of the northern lights.

Monday Morning Mindset

Monday Morning Mindset with Black Pepper

A water carrier in India had two large clay pots that hung from opposite ends of a pole he carried across his shoulders. One of the carrier’s pots had a crack in it. The other pot was perfect and always arrived after the long walk from the stream to the master’s house full of the precious water. The cracked pot, on the other hand, arrived only half full, and as a result, the water carrier always delivered one full pot and one half pot of water.
The perfect pot was proud of its ability to fulfill the purpose for which it had been made. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its imperfection, and miserable that it could only fulfill part of the purpose it had been made for.
After two years of bitter failure, the cracked pot spoke to the water carrier, saying, “I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you.” “Why?” asked the water carrier. “What are you ashamed of?” “I deliver only half my load. The crack in my side lets water leak onto the ground as you carry me to your master’s house. So you don’t get the full value of your efforts because of my flaw.”
The water carrier felt very sorry for the old cracked pot and he said, “As we return to the master’s house today, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path.” Then he trudged up the hill with the two pots across his shoulders. For the first time, the cracked pot noticed the beautiful wildflowers along the path and they cheered it immensely.
When they reached the master’s house, the water carrier said to the pot, “Did you notice the flowers on your side of the path, and how there were none on the perfect pot’s side? I have always known of your flaw, and I took advantage of it by planting flower seeds. I knew that, as we walked back from the stream, you would water them. And, for two years now, I have picked these beautiful flowers to decorate my master’s table. Without you being exactly the way you are, he would not have had this beauty to grace his house.”
