Since I’m hosting a harvest right now, I decided this is my topic of choice for this newsletter. One of the things I love about Young Living is their Seed to Seal Standard. Every single part of the process matters, regardless of how insignificant it may seem. For me it all started from spending time at the farms with Gary, seeing the love he had for the land, and what it can produce for the betterment of mankind. Witnessing the respect Gary had for the soil, the seeds, the seedlings, the equipment, the people and every piece of the process until the first drop of oil was produced, is a memory I’ll cherish. We hosted our team at a harvest every year for 26 years and had the opportunity to see first hand the dedication that goes into making sure we have pure, unadulterated oils. Nothing added, nothing taken out, kept exactly like they are in the plant.
I love that there is no separation, every aspect matters. Every part of the process is important.
We had the opportunity of building the Northern Lights Black Spruce distillery, working side by side with Gary, day after day, week after week, month after month, in the harshest of weather. In spite of the challenges, no shortcuts were taken, instead extra extreme caution was implemented to ensure there would be nothing in the distillation process that could contaminate the oil.
Gary taught us that you never look at what it cost you, you always look at what it’s giving you.
The best part that continues today, is our farms and our dedicated farm managers, who have Gary’s heart. These men are dedicated to the quality and have brought transparency of the entire process to the people. There is nothing that brings trust more than transparency.
Don’t take my word for it or anyone else’s word, go to the farms, visit the distilleries, go to the Young Living headquarters, see for yourself, then collaborate with those who have been there from the beginning, who have weathered the storms, who have had personal transformation as a result of the quality of our oils.
It’s all guaranteed in the Seed to Seal Standard.
Northern Lights Black Spruce
Northern lights black spruce to balance the masculine and feminine energy.
Black spruce essential oil (Picea mariana) is a grounding, woodsy oil used in aromatherapy to reduce anxiety, promote relaxation, and ease respiratory congestion. Rich in bornyl acetate, it serves as an effective anti-inflammatory for soothing muscular aches and joint pain. It also aids in skin health and acts as a natural air purifier. It’s also very popular as a support to getting a good nights sleep. Northern lights black spruce is one of the highest frequency oils. Understandably so as it’s anointed with the high frequency of the northern lights. Here in the North it’s commonly referred to as the frankincense of the North country. In essence, anything you use Frankincense for can be duplicated with this amazing Northern Lights Black Spruce oil.
