What if you could Fail Beyond SuccessHere is some thing to consider: What if you could Fail Beyond Success? Get out your panaway oil and take some deep inhalations before reading the following.
Isn't it funny how “they” tell you to dream big, careful though because reasonable, not too big Like there's some invisible ceiling you dare not touch. Here's the thing “they” are wrong. Ridiculously wrong. When you set your goals so high they make your head spin, you are not setting yourself up to fail. You are setting yourself up to reach places “they” can't even imagine. If you miss? So what. You'll land in a space higher than where you started. And honestly, wouldn't you rather fail in the clouds than succeed in the dirt? People talk about playing it safe, as if it's some badge of wisdom. Safe keeps you small, it keeps you grounded, too grounded, staying familiar with what you already know and preventing change and growth. Safe is the killer of the dream before it even has a chance to fly. Look at those who went all in, who dared the ridiculous. Even their "failures" built empires, reshaped worlds, expanded horizons and created abundance. Think about that. A failure so grand it's a success in disguise. Maybe that's the secret. To aim so wildly high that falling feels like flying. Because at least you're moving. At least you're taking action. So why not go for it? Why not reach for something seemingly impossible? Simply for the fun of it! for the curiosity! for the adventure! For the what if! What if the worst thing that happens is you end up somewhere extraordinary. Of course You could choose to stay small, safe, tucked away in mediocrity, Or you could choose to chase something so audacious it inspires you, fills you with anticipation and sets your passion in motion. Either way, you will be better off than the ones who never attempted anything beyond their comfort zone. The only real failure is thinking you've already reached your peak.
Now get out your pen and write down something you really want to do. Something you want to achieve. Something you want to contribute. Take another deep inhalation of the fragrance of panaway and begin to take action.
